Unlike generic paycheck calculators, it correctly handles FICA exemption for F-1 OPT and J-1 students, the NRA standard-deduction rule, the US-India student treaty, and California SDI uncapping. Every number is sourced to the IRS, SSA, or the relevant state Department of Revenue. Every page is dated and rebuilt whenever data changes.

If you are a US citizen, green card holder, or W-2 employee with no immigration overlay, a generic US paycheck calculator will give you the same answer with a slicker UI and more options (401(k), HSA, dependents). We don't compete on those features — we compete on getting the visa-specific edge cases right. Use the right tool for your situation.

We also do not offer: refund / tax calculators, IRS form filing, withholding-election optimizers, or anything that touches your actual return.
